What is a Red Book valuation and do I need one?
A Red Book valuation is prepared to the RICS Valuation - Global Standards by a RICS Registered Valuer. It is the formal valuation lenders, HMRC, auditors, pension trustees and the courts expect. If you are unsure whether you need one, tell us the reason for the valuation and we will advise.
How long does a commercial valuation take?
Timescales depend on the property and the purpose. We agree a realistic timeframe with you up front and will tell you if your deadline is tight.
What does a valuation cost?
Fees depend on the property type, location and complexity of the instruction. We provide a clear, fixed fee quote before any work begins, so there are no surprises.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in the Thames Valley and value commercial property across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties, including Amersham, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Marlow and Slough. For some instructions we can act further afield, so please ask.
What types of property do you value?
Offices, industrial and warehouse units, retail premises, investment property and mixed use commercial assets. If you are not sure how your property is classified, just describe it and we will guide you.
